    The IAC MVP has committed to Tompkins Cortland women's soccer. Dryden High senior Emma Lobdell has signed her NJCAA Letter of Intent to join the Panthers in the fall.
  • All-STAC Midfielder Commits to Panthers Soccer

    Owego Free Academy senior Cassie Doane has signed her NJCAA Letter of Intent to join the Panthers women's soccer program in 2024. Doane, an all-STAC midfielder, helped the Owego River Hawks to the Section IV Class A championship in 2023. Doane, who also plays basketball at Owego, plans to study hotel and restaurant management at Tompkins Cortland in preparation for a career in the hospitality field. 
  • Foley and Forehand Voted All-MSAC

    For the first time since 2019, Tompkins Cortland Community College has two players voted to the Mid-State Athletic Conference all-conference women’s soccer team. Gabby Foley (Barton/Tioga H.S.) and Hannah Forehand (Groton/Victory Christian Academy) were among the players recognized through voting by all the coaches in the conference.

    The Tompkins Cortland Community College women’s soccer team closed out the season this weekend with another great effort, playing hard for a full 90 minutes despite facing a disadvantage in terms of number of players. On Sunday the Panthers fell to Onondaga Community College 6-0 to end the season with a record of 0-9 overall and 0-5 in the Mid-State Athletic Conference. Onondaga, among the teams receiving votes in the latest national rankings, improves to 11-2 overall and claims the MSAC championship with a record of 5-0 in conference.
  • Panthers Hang Close with Broome

    Playing another full game a player short, the Tompkins Cortland Community College women’s soccer team was able to hang close with SUNY Broome before losing 2-0. The Panthers are now 0-8 overall and 0-4 in the Mid-State Athletic Conference. Broome improves to 7-5 overall and 2-3 in the MSAC.

    Hosting Hudson Valley Community College for a rescheduled game, the Tompkins Cortland Community College women’s soccer team dropped a 3-0 final on Sunday. The Panthers are now 0-7 on the season; Hudson Valley is 5-5.

    The Tompkins Cortland Community College women?s soccer team came painstakingly close to earning its first win of the season on Saturday, but ultimately ended up on the wrong side of a 1-0 final against Finger Lakes Community College. The Panthers drop to 0-6 overall and 0-3 in the Mid-State Athletic Conference. Finger Lakes is 1-10 overall and 1-4 in the MSAC.

    Playing down two or three players the entire game, the Tompkins Cortland Community College women?s soccer team lost at home to SUNY Adirondack, 4-0. The Panthers are now 0-5 while Adirondack improves to 3-5-3 overall.
  • Panthers Shut Out on the Road

    Despite another valiant effort, the Tompkins Cortland Community College women’s soccer team couldn’t hang with one of the top teams in the region, falling to Herkimer College by a final score of 11-0. The Panthers, playing with only 10 players, drop to 0-4 on the season. Herkimer, raked #10 in the latest NJCAA Division 3 poll, improves to 6-1.
  • Panthers Lose to #1-Ranked Team

    The undermanned Tompkins Cortland Community College women’s soccer team had a tall task on Sunday, traveling to Batavia to take on the top-ranked team in the nation. The final was a 7-0 win for Genesee Community College, dropping the Panthers to 0-3 on the season. Genesee, the #1 ranked team in the NJCAA Division 3 poll, improves to 7-0.

    Playing shorthanded at home, the Tompkins Cortland Community College women’s soccer team put forth a valiant effort before dropping a 4-0 decision to Jamestown Community College on Wednesday. The Panthers are now 0-2 while Jamestown improves to 2-4.
  • Panthers Women's Soccer Opens Season

    After a series of postponements, the Tompkins Cortland Community College women’s soccer team finally took to the field on Saturday. Making the long trip to North Country Community College, the Panthers came out on the wrong end of a 3-0 final with the Saints. It was the fifth game of the season for North Country as they improved to 2-3.
  • Niagara Forfeits in Panthers Season-Opener
    August 30, 2023
    The 2023 season opener for the Panthers women's soccer team, scheduled for August 30, was called off when Niagara County Community College was forced to forfeit due to a lack of players. The "Regional Forfeit" will only impact the Region 3 standings for both teams, not their overall win-loss record.

  • McDaniel Returns to Women's Soccer Sidelines

    The winningest coach in Tompkins Cortland Community College women’s soccer history is returning to the sideline. Mick McDaniel will once again serve as head coach for the program that he led to the NJCAA postseason in each of the seven seasons he served as head coach. He takes over for Megan Brunkhorst, who stepped down after one season.
  • Sectional Champion Signs with Panthers Women's Soccer

    Cincinnatus High's Caitlin Standish is the latest member of the Panthers Women's Soccer Recruiting Class of 2023. A forward for the Lions team that won the Section III championship and advanced all the way to the New York State Championship game before losing during a 21-1 season, Standish brings her talents along with plenty of winning experience to the Panthers this fall.
  • Marathon's Bailee Hurlburt Kicks Off Women's Soccer Recruiting Class of 2023

    Marathon High's Bailee Hurlburt is the first member of the Panthers Women's Soccer Recruiting Class of 2023. A stopper for the Olympians, Hurlburt has signed her NJCAA National Letter of Intent to continue her education and playing career at Tompkins Cortland Community College in Fall 2023. 
  • Williams Scores On Night She is Honored

    On the night she was honored for playing her last game with the Tompkins Cortland Community College women’s soccer team, Leah Williams (Owego/Newark Valley H.S.) provided the highlight for the Panthers. Williams scored the lone goal for the Panthers in a 3-1 loss to Jamestown Community College in the season finale for both teams. The Panthers end the year with a record of 0-9.
  • Panthers Drop Women's Soccer Game at Onondaga

    A goal by Leah Williams (Owego/Newark Valley H.S.) in the closing minutes of the first half got the Tompkins Cortland Community College women’s soccer team on the board Friday, but it wasn’t nearly enough as the Panthers lost on the road to Onondaga Community College, 8-1. The Panthers are now 0-8 overall and 0-5 in the Mid-State Athletic Conference on the season. Onondaga is 5-5 overall and 3-2 in the MSAC.
  • Panthers Women Fall to Another Nationally Ranked Team

    Another nationally ranked team was the opposition for the Tompkins Cortland Community College women’s soccer team on Wednesday as the Panthers took to the road to take on #5-ranked SUNY Broome on Wednesday. For the fourth time this year, the result was a loss to top-level team, this time by a final score of 10-1. The Panthers drop to 0-7 overall and 0-4 in the Mid-State Athletic Conference on the season. SUNY Broome is 10-1-1 overall and 4-0 in the MSAC.

    Friday brought another tough road trip for the Tompkins Cortland Community College women’s soccer team as the Panthers traveled to Finger Lakes Community College to take on the Lakers. The result was a 10-0 loss that drops the Panthers to fall to 0-6 overall and 0-3 in the Mid-State Athletic Conference on the season. Finger Lakes improves to 7-5 overall and 3-2 in MSAC.

    Playing at Jefferson Community College on Wednesday, the Tompkins Cortland Community College women’s soccer team came short, falling to the Cannoneers 5-1. The Panthers fall to 0-6 overall and 0-2 in the Mid-State Athletic Conference. Jefferson is now 2-6 overall and 1-4 in the MSAC.
  • Panthers Drop First Road Game 3-1

    In a season marked by postponements and cancellations, the Tompkins Cortland Community College women’s soccer team went on the road for the first time on Saturday. Playing at Fulton-Montgomery Community College, the Panthers lost 3-1 to fall to 0-4 on the season. Fulton-Montgomery is now 3-6.
  • Panthers Blanked at Home by #8 Genesee
    September 25, 2022
    For the second straight game, the Tompkins Cortland Community College women’s soccer team hosted a nationally ranked opponent. On Sunday, #8-ranked Genesee Community College came to Dryden to take on the Panthers, and the result was a 6-0 win for the Cougars. Genesee is now 5-1 overall, 4-2 in Region 3, and 1-1 in the Mid-State Athletic Conference. Tompkins Cortland is 0-3 overall and in region, and 0-1 in the MSAC.
  • #3-Ranked Mohawk Valley Too Much for Panthers Women

    Facing off against one of the top teams in the nation is a tall task under the best of circumstances. Doing so with a roster shortened due to injuries makes it an impossible task, and that’s what the Tompkins Cortland Community College women’s soccer faced on Thursday. The Panthers hosted the #3-ranked team in the nation and the result was a 14-0 win for Mohawk Valley Community College. The Panthers are now 0-2 while the Hawks move to 3-0.
  • Panthers Open Season with Home Loss

    The long-awaited season opener for the Tompkins Cortland Community College women’s soccer came Sunday as the Panthers hosted Herkimer County Community College. The first collegiate game for every member of the home team started well before the team ran out gas, eventually losing by a final score of 12-1. Herkimer improves to 2-1 with the win.

  • Megan Brunkhorst Named Panthers Women's Soccer Coach

    Megan Brunkhorst has been named the new head women’s soccer coach at Tompkins Cortland Community College. Brunkhorst, the 7th head coach in the 26-year history of the program, will lead the return of a program that last took the field in 2019.
