  • Women's Soccer Drops Finale at SUNY Broome

    The 2024 season came to a close for the Tompkins Cortland women’s soccer team Wednesday as the Panthers lost 7-1 at SUNY Broome. With the loss, Tompkins Cortland ends the year with a record of 0-9-1 overall and 0-5-1 in the Mid-State Athletic Conference. Broome improves to 5-8-0 overall and 3-3-0 in the MSAC.
  • Panthers Women Come Up Short on Sophomore Day

    A late rally came up short on Sunday as the Panthers women’s soccer team dropped a home game to Genesee Community College. The loss drops Tompkins Cortland to 0-8-1 overall and 0-4-1 in the Mid-State Athletic Conference. Genesee improves to 7-2-2 overall and 4-1-1 in the MSAC.
  • Women's Soccer at Mohawk Valley Cancelled

    The women's soccer game between Tompkins Cortland and Mohawk Valley scheduled for Friday, October 11 has been cancelled. Mohawk Valley will receive a Regional Forfeit win as the result of Tompkins Cortland not having enough healthy players available.
  • Panthers Women Drop Home Game to North Country

    Returning home after playing the last five games on the road, the Panthers women’s soccer team came up short against North Country Community College, 5-0. Tompkins Cortland is now 0-7-1 overall while North Country stands at 6-3-2.
  • Panthers Drop Road Game at Jefferson

    Taking on one of the top teams in the region on the road, the Panthers women’s soccer team came home with an 8-1 loss to Jefferson Community College Sunday. The Panthers are now 0-6-1 overall and 0-3-1 in the Mid-State Athletic Conference. Jefferson is 6-2 overall and 3-0 in the MSAC.
  • Women's Soccer Rallies to Tie Corning

    After falling behind 2-0, the Panthers women’s soccer team rallied back and nearly pulled off a come-from-behind win, settling for a 2-2 tie with Corning Community College Wednesday. The Panthers are now 0-5-1 overall and 0-2-1 in the Mid-State Athletic Conference. Corning is 0-5-1 overall and 0-2-1 in the MSAC.
  • Women's Soccer Drops Road Game at Jamestown

    Playing on the road for the third game in a row, Tompkins Cortland Community College women’s soccer team wasn’t able to get anything going in a 10-0 loss to Jamestown Community College. The Panthers are now 0-5 on the season; Jamestown improves to 1-3 overall and 1-2 in Region 3.
  • Panthers Women Drop Second Straight 2-1 Game

    For the second straight game, the Tompkins Cortland Community College women’s soccer team came up just short, falling 2-1 against SUNY Niagara. The Panthers are now 0-4 on the season; Niagara improves to 1-3.

    Despite outshooting their opponent, the Tompkins Cortland Community College women’s soccer team couldn’t capitalize on enough chances, falling 2-1 to Finger Lakes Community College Saturday. The Panthers are now 0-3 overall and 0-2 in the Mid-State Athletic Conference. Finger Lakes improves to 1-4 overall and 1-1 in the MSAC.
  • Women Fall at Home to Herkimer

    A second-half goal by Cassie Doane (Candor/Owego Free Academy) was the lone score for the Tompkins Cortland Community College women’s soccer team Sunday as the Panthers lost its home opener to Herkimer College, 12-1. Tompkins Cortland is now 0-2-0 while Herkimer improves to 2-1-1 on the season.
  • Panthers Women Open Season at Onondaga

    The Tompkins Cortland Community College women’s soccer team took to the field for a regular season game for the first time in 2024, traveling to Onondaga Community College on Saturday. The Panther couldn’t keep up with the Lazers, falling by a final score of 13-1. Onondaga is now 2-0 on the season.
  • Panthers Earn National Academic Honors

    Two teams and 15 individual Tompkins Cortland Community College student-athletes have been honored for their academic excellence by the National Junior College Athletic Association (NJCAA). The men’s golf and women’s soccer teams were named NJCAA Academic Teams of the Year for having a team GPA of better than 3.0.
  • Panthers Honored by Region 3 for Academic Excellence

    Seventeen Tompkins Cortland Community College student-athletes have been honored for their academic excellence by Region 3 of the National Junior College Athletic Association (NJCAA). To be eligible, student-athlete need to have a minimum gpa of 3.5 over the course of the 2023-24 academic year.

    The IAC MVP has committed to Tompkins Cortland women's soccer. Dryden High senior Emma Lobdell has signed her NJCAA Letter of Intent to join the Panthers in the fall.
  • All-STAC Midfielder Commits to Panthers Soccer

    Owego Free Academy senior Cassie Doane has signed her NJCAA Letter of Intent to join the Panthers women's soccer program in 2024. Doane, an all-STAC midfielder, helped the Owego River Hawks to the Section IV Class A championship in 2023. Doane, who also plays basketball at Owego, plans to study hotel and restaurant management at Tompkins Cortland in preparation for a career in the hospitality field. 
  • Foley and Forehand Voted All-MSAC

    For the first time since 2019, Tompkins Cortland Community College has two players voted to the Mid-State Athletic Conference all-conference women’s soccer team. Gabby Foley (Barton/Tioga H.S.) and Hannah Forehand (Groton/Victory Christian Academy) were among the players recognized through voting by all the coaches in the conference.
  • Foley Tops 100 Saves as Panthers End Season at Home

    The Tompkins Cortland Community College women’s soccer team closed out the season this weekend with another great effort, playing hard for a full 90 minutes despite facing a disadvantage in terms of number of players. On Sunday the Panthers fell to Onondaga Community College 6-0 to end the season with a record of 0-9 overall and 0-5 in the Mid-State Athletic Conference. Onondaga, among the teams receiving votes in the latest national rankings, improves to 11-2 overall and claims the MSAC championship with a record of 5-0 in conference.

    Playing another full game a player short, the Tompkins Cortland Community College women’s soccer team was able to hang close with SUNY Broome before losing 2-0. The Panthers are now 0-8 overall and 0-4 in the Mid-State Athletic Conference. Broome improves to 7-5 overall and 2-3 in the MSAC.

    The Tompkins Cortland Community College women?s soccer team came painstakingly close to earning its first win of the season on Saturday, but ultimately ended up on the wrong side of a 1-0 final against Finger Lakes Community College. The Panthers drop to 0-6 overall and 0-3 in the Mid-State Athletic Conference. Finger Lakes is 1-10 overall and 1-4 in the MSAC.

    Despite another valiant effort, the Tompkins Cortland Community College women’s soccer team couldn’t hang with one of the top teams in the region, falling to Herkimer College by a final score of 11-0. The Panthers, playing with only 10 players, drop to 0-4 on the season. Herkimer, raked #10 in the latest NJCAA Division 3 poll, improves to 6-1.
  • Panthers Lose to #1-Ranked Team

    The undermanned Tompkins Cortland Community College women’s soccer team had a tall task on Sunday, traveling to Batavia to take on the top-ranked team in the nation. The final was a 7-0 win for Genesee Community College, dropping the Panthers to 0-3 on the season. Genesee, the #1 ranked team in the NJCAA Division 3 poll, improves to 7-0.

    Playing shorthanded at home, the Tompkins Cortland Community College women’s soccer team put forth a valiant effort before dropping a 4-0 decision to Jamestown Community College on Wednesday. The Panthers are now 0-2 while Jamestown improves to 2-4.
  • Panthers Women's Soccer Opens Season

    After a series of postponements, the Tompkins Cortland Community College women’s soccer team finally took to the field on Saturday. Making the long trip to North Country Community College, the Panthers came out on the wrong end of a 3-0 final with the Saints. It was the fifth game of the season for North Country as they improved to 2-3.
  • Niagara Forfeits in Panthers Season-Opener
    August 30, 2023
    The 2023 season opener for the Panthers women's soccer team, scheduled for August 30, was called off when Niagara County Community College was forced to forfeit due to a lack of players. The "Regional Forfeit" will only impact the Region 3 standings for both teams, not their overall win-loss record.
