After a series of postponements, the Tompkins Cortland Community College women's soccer team finally took to the field on Saturday. Making the long trip to North Country Community College, the Panthers came out on the wrong end of a 3-0 final with the Saints. It was the fifth game of the season for North Country as they improved to 2-3.

Dressing just 11 players, the Panthers put up a strong fight, allowing just one score in the first half before fading a bit in the second and giving up two more. Gabby Foley (Barton/Tioga H.S.) had an impressive debut in goal, recording 17 saves.

Looking ahead

The Panthers hope to play their home opener on Wednesday, September 20 against Jamestown Community College.
