Panthers Women Drop Home Game to North Country

Returning home after playing the last five games on the road, the Panthers women's soccer team came up short against North Country Community College, 5-0. Tompkins Cortland is now 0-7-1 overall while North Country stands at 6-3-2.

North Country jumped out in front with a goal in the fifth minute of action, and never looked back. The scored stood at 2-0 at the half, and the Saints tacked on two more in the opening five minutes of the second half. The last score came midway through the half, making the final 5-0 and handing the Panthers just their second shutout of the season.

Emily McCracken (Truxton/Penn Foster Online) had 16 saves in goal for the Panthers.
