  • Panthers Fall to #4-Ranked Onondaga
    April 16, 2024
    The Panthers men’s lacrosse team got overwhelmed by #4-ranked Onondaga Community College on Tuesday, losing 30-1. Tompkins Cortland is now 2-5 overall and 2-3 in Region 3. Onondaga improves to 8-3 overall and 6-0 in region. The Lazers also improved to 3-0 in the Mid-State Athletic Conference, clinching the conference championship.
  • Panthers Run Out of Steam in Loss to Hudson Valley

    A tight game into the fourth quarter got away from the Panthers men’s lacrosse team on Friday as Hudson Valley Community College pulled away to hand the Panthers a 14-6 defeat. Tompkins Cortland is now 2-4 overall and 2-2 in Region 3. Hudson Valley improves to 6-3 overall and 2-3 in region.
  • Road Loss to Herkimer for Panthers Lacrosse

    A slow start was too much to overcome as the Panthers men’s lacrosse team lost to Herkimer College on Saturday, 15-4. The Panthers, who earlier in the week learned they would be awarded a forfeit win for the season-opening game against Monroe Community College, now stand at 2-3 overall and 2-1 in Region 3. Herkimer is 5-5 overall and 3-1 in region.
  • Panthers Lacrosse Beats Mohawk Valley for First Win

    The Panthers men’s lacrosse team earned its first win of the season Wednesday, claiming a 13-11 victory at Mohawk Valley Community College. The Panthers are now 1-3 overall and 1-1 in Region 3. Mohawk Valley drops to 0-3 overall and in region.
  • Panthers Lacrosse Drops Home Game to #3 CCBC Essex
    March 24, 2024
    The Tompkins Cortland Community College men’s lacrosse team returned to action Sunday after two weeks off, hosting #3-ranked Community College of Baltimore County Essex. The visiting Knights lived up to their ranking, rolling to a 31-1 win. Tompkins Cortland is now 0-2 while Essex improves to 4-1.
  • Panthers Lacrosse Drops Home Opener to Monroe
    March 09, 2024
    Playing at home for the first time this season, the Tompkins Cortland Community College men’s lacrosse team fell into an early hole and could never recover, losing 22-9 to Monroe Community College. The Panthers are now 0-2 on the season; it was the first game of the year for Monroe.
  • Panthers Lacrosse Opens Season in New Jersey

    To open the 2024 season, the Tompkins Cortland Community College men’s lacrosse season hit the road for a game in New Jersey against Sussex County Community College. Squaring off against the Skylanders, the Panthers took an early lead but couldn’t hold on, falling by a 9-7 final. The Panthers are now 0-1; it was the first win in three games this season for Sussex.
  • McMullin Steps Down; Coffman Takes Over Lacrosse Program

    After more than a decade with the program, Zach McMullin is stepping down as head coach of the Tompkins Cortland Community College men’s lacrosse team. Justin Coffman, McMullin’s top assistant coach for most of his tenure, has been promoted to head coach.
  • Chenango Forks All Star Signs with Panthers
    July 24, 2023
    All-League midfielder Zander Arnold from Chenango Forks High School has committed to join the Panthers lacrosse program. A state champion in football and championship finalist in lacrosse for the Blue Devils, Arnold will start with Tompkins Cortland this fall.

  • Panthers Lacrosse Adds to Defense

    Panthers lacrosse has added another talented long stick. Johnson City's Gopal Milligan-Cuffee has committed to come to Tompkins Cortland this fall. A five-time lacrosse letter winner for the Wildcats, Milligan-Cuffee joins a talented recruiting class of 2023 for Coaches McMullin and Coffman. 
  • Johnson City Defender Signs with Panthers

    Johnson City High School's Lucian House has signed his NJCAA Letter of Intent to come to Tompkins Cortland Community College and join the Panthers lacrosse program. A two-time all-league defender for the Wildcats, House played his club lacrosse with Gaffers Elite Lacrosse.
  • Fullerton and Marshall Named All-MSAC
    May 31, 2023
    Two members of the Tompkins Cortland Community College lacrosse team have been voted to the Mid-State Athletic Conference all-conference team. Declan Fullerton (Westchester/Walter Panas H.S.) and Tosh Marshall (Sylvan Lake, Alberta/H.J. Cody H.S.) were recognized in voting done by the coaches from the four teams in the conference. Fullerton, a sophomore and team captain, played every second of every game in goal for the Panthers, including recording the first shutout in program history. Marshall, a freshman attack, led the Panthers in scoring with 26 points on 13 goals and 13 assists.
  • Panthers End Season on High Note with Win

    The Tompkins Cortland Community College men’s lacrosse team ended the season on a high note with an 11-3 win over Finger Lakes Community College on Monday. The win in the final game of the season leaves the Panthers with a record of 3-4.
  • Panthers Shut Out at Genesee
    April 22, 2023
    Another tough day for the Tompkins Cortland Community College men’s lacrosse team ended with the Panthers losing 25-0 to Genesee Community College on Saturday. The road loss drops the Panthers to 2-4 on the year. Genesee overall and in Region 3; Onondaga is 6-4 overall and 6-1 in Region 3.
  • Panthers Lose to #3 Onondaga

    The Tompkins Cortland Community College men’s lacrosse team hosted one of the top teams in the nation on Tuesday, taking on #3-ranked Onondaga Community College in a Region 3 contest. The Lazers showed why they are ranked so highly, winning 27-0. The Panthers are now 2-3 overall and in Region 3; Onondaga is 8-2 overall and 6-0 in Region 3.
  • Panthers Finish Strong But Come Up Short

    A strong finish wasn’t enough to overcome a slow start as the Tompkins Cortland Community College men’s lacrosse team dropped a 13-8 decision at Hudson Valley Community College Friday. The Panthers are now 2-2 overall and in Region 3; Hudson Valley improves to 6-4 overall and 4-3 in Region 3.
  • Panthers Lacrosse Suffers First Loss at Monroe

    After opening the season with two dominating performances, the Tompkins Cortland Community College men’s lacrosse team met its match on Sunday, dropping a road loss to Monroe Community College, 12-6. The Panthers are now 2-1 overall and in Region 3; Monroe, a perennial Region 3 playoff team, improves to 3-4 overall and 3-2 in Region 3 games.
  • Akron's Borton Commits to Panthers Lacrosse

    Akron High's Zander Borton has committed to join the Panthers Lacrosse Recruiting Class of 2023. The midfielder for the Tigers and the Always Sunny Lacrosse Club has signed his NJCAA National Letter of Intent to come to Tompkins Cortland in Fall 2023. Borton is an all-star and multiple letter winner for both football and lacrosse for the Tigers. 
  • Panthers Lacrosse Posts First Shutout, 27-0 Over Mohawk Valley
    March 29, 2023
    For the first time in program history, the Tompkins Cortland Community College men’s lacrosse team held an opponent scoreless for an entire game. Wednesday’s 27-0 win over Mohawk Valley Community College also marked the largest margin of victory ever for the Panthers. Tompkins Cortland is now 2-0 on the season while Mohawk Valley falls to 0-2.
  • Panthers Lacrosse Wins Season Opener 12-4 Over Finger Lakes

    The Tompkins Cortland Community College men’s lacrosse season finally got underway on Friday with a 12-4 win over Finger Lakes Community College. After having the scheduled season-opener postponed last week the Panthers are now 1-0 on the season. Finger Lakes drops to 0-2.

  • Whitney Point Defender Signs with Panthers Lacrosse

    Whitney Point High's Grant Smith is going to be a part of Panther Nation. Smith has signed his letter of intent to join the Panthers Lacrosse Recruiting Class of 2023. As a four-year member of the varsity at Whitney Point, as well as an experienced club play with Coldbrook Lacrosse Club, Smith is a defender with plenty of experience. He also earned varsity letters in football and wrestling for the Eagles.
  • Cortland Defenseman Signs with Panthers

    Cortland High's Luke Darling has joined the Panthers Lacrosse Recruiting Class of 2023. The defender has signed his NJCAA National Letter of Intent to come to Tompkins Cortland in Fall 2023. Another versatile athlete coming to Dryden to play for Coach McMullin, Darling was an honorable mention Salt City Athletic Conference all-league performer as a junior. In addition to his lacrosse accolades, he is also a letter winner in football and wrestling for the Purple Tigers.

  • Panthers Add Another Commitment from Irondequoit

    Irondequoit High's Billy Pusey has signed his NJCAA Letter of Intent to join the Panthers in the fall. A middie for the Eagles and for the 3d Upstate club team, Pusey joins fellow Irondequoit classmate Jimmy Tambe in committing to Tompkins Cortland. 
  • Panthers Lacrosse Welcome Another Section V Standout

    The Panthers Lacrosse Recruiting Class of 2023 has added another standout from Section V. Irondequoit's Jimmy Tambe has signed his NJCAA National Letter of Intent to come to Tompkins Cortland in Fall 2023. A defender for the lax team, Tambe was also a multiple-letter winner in football and indoor track for the Eagles.
