The Tompkins Cortland Community College men's lacrosse team hosted one of the top teams in the nation on Tuesday, taking on #3-ranked Onondaga Community College in a Region 3 contest. The Lazers showed why they are ranked so highly, winning 27-0. The Panthers are now 2-3 overall and in Region 3; Onondaga is 8-2 overall and 6-0 in Region 3.

The perennially strong Onondaga team took control of the game with 11 goals in the first quarter and never looked back. Tompkins Cortland goalie Declan Fullerton (Westchester/Walter Panas H.S.) had 17 saves in goal.

The Panthers travel to Batavia on Saturday to take on Genesee Community College.
