Tompkins Cortland Community College took part in the Jamestown Invitational at Chautauqua Golf Course in Chautauqua on Friday.
Zackary Willson (Dryden/Dryden H.S.) had his best round of the year, carding an 88 on the course that annually hosts the NJCAA Division III National Championship tournament. Andrew Allport (Ithaca/Ithaca H.S.) also came home with his best score, an even 90.
Tompkins Cortland Community College took part in the Mohawk Valley Invitational at Oneida community Golf Club in Oneida. Two Panthers took part as individuals; the team event was won by SUNY Niagara with a score of 321.
Tompkins Cortland Community College took part in the Adirondack Invitational at Brookhaven Golf Course in Porter Corner. The team event was won by SUNY Niagara with a score of 337.
Tompkins Cortland Community College hosted the first golf tournament of the NJCAA Region 3 season on Friday, welcoming golfers from nine colleges to Elm Tree Golf Course in Cortland. The team event was won by SUNY Niagara with a score of 309.
PGA professional Kevin Kurcoba has been named the new head golf at Tompkins Cortland Community College. Kurcoba takes over the program for the 2024 season.
