Panthers Women Fall to Another Nationally Ranked Team

Another nationally ranked team was the opposition for the Tompkins Cortland Community College women's soccer team on Wednesday as the Panthers took to the road to take on #5-ranked SUNY Broome on Wednesday. For the fourth time this year, the result was a loss to top-level team, this time by a final score of 10-1. The Panthers drop to 0-7 overall and 0-4 in the Mid-State Athletic Conference on the season. SUNY Broome is 10-1-1 overall and 4-0 in the MSAC.

The Panthers lone goal came in the second half, with Leah Williams (Owego/Newark Valley H.S.) finding the net for the second time this season, this time off an assist by Caitlin Luzum (Cortland/McGraw H.S.). Genevieve Elliott (Bath/Penn Yan Academy) had 21 saves in goal.
