
The Panthers women's basketball team dropped a road game to Finger Lakes Community College on Saturday, falling 68-49. Tompkins Cortland drops to 6-11 overall and 4-7 in the Mid-State Athletic Conference. Finger Lakes improves to 10-12 overall and 7-6 in the MSAC.
Finger Lakes got on the board first and never trailed. The home team took an 18-11 lead after the first quarter and the Panthers weren't able to get the gap down below five points the rest of the way.
Michaela Jean-Philippe (Binghamton/Binghamton H.S.) led the Panthers with 28 points, one off her season high. She added 10 rebounds for her second straight double-double. Thalia Jackson (Glendale, Ariz./Raymond S. Kellis H.S.) also had a double-double with 11 points and 17 rebounds.

The Panthers host SUNY Broome on Sunday for the final home game of the season.
