A record-tying performance from Amarionah Dixon (Elmira/Elmira H.S.) helped the Tompkins Cortland Community College women's basketball team to a comfortable 58-34 win over Finger Lakes Community College on Saturday. The Panthers are now 6-6 overall and 4-2 in the Mid-State Athletic Conference. Finger Lakes falls to 0-15 overall and 0-7 in the MSAC.

The first quarter was evenly played, but that change quickly in the second. With the score tied at 8-8 after the first quarter, the Panthers came out and outscored the Laker 25-4 in the second.  The lead was never threatened the rest of the way as Tompkins Cortland won for the second time in three regional games since returning from break.

Dixon had another huge game. She tied the program record for rebounds with 26 (Audrey Kate Ordway, 11/28/12) while also pouring in 25 points. Karissa Wilbur (McGraw/McGraw H.S.) followed with 16 points, and Sindiswa Pinckney (Dryden/Dryden H.S.) added seven points and nine rebounds.
