The Tompkins Cortland Community College women's basketball team opened the 2022-23 season Thursday with a road game at #8-ranked Onondaga Community College. The 70-38 final leaves the Panthers at 0-1, while Onondaga improves to 2-1 overall and 1-0 in the Mid-State Athletic Conference.

Freshman Amarionah Dixon (Elmira/Elmira H.S.) led the Panthers with 12 points, 6 rebounds, and 3 steals in her collegiate debut. Karissa Wilbur (McGraw/McGraw H.S.) added 10 points, 4 rebounds, and 3 steals and Madison Kelly (Moravia/Moravia H.S.) added 8 points and 3 rebounds.
