The Tompkins Cortland Community College women's basketball team dropped ah home game to Onondaga Community College Wednesday, losing by a final score of 73-43. Tompkins Cortland drops to 4-13 overall and 2-9 in the Mid-State Athletic Conference. Onondaga, the top-ranked team in Region 3 and ranked #4 in the nation, is now 18-3 overall and 12-0 in the MSAC.
Karissa Wilbur (McGraw/McGraw H.S.) poured in 18 points to lead all scorers. Madison Kelly (Moravia/Moravia H.S.) finished with 10 points. Simone Smith (Ithaca/Ithaca H.S.) led the Panthers in rebounds with 6.
Looking ahead
The Panthers are back home Friday for a game against SUNY Broome. It is a make-up for a postponed game that was originally scheduled for January 21.
