Prior to their game on Saturday, the Tompkins Cortland Community College women's basketball team paid tribute to the seven sophomores playing their last game with the Panthers. After the emotions of the pregame ceremony, the Panthers came out strong before fading to an 84-58 loss to Cayuga Community College. The Panthers finish the year with a record of 3-17 overall and 1-11 in the Mid-State Athletic Conference. Cayuga is now 8-14 overall and 4-7 in the MSAC.

The two teams combined to score 49 points in the first quarter, with the lead changing hands four times. The visiting Spartans added to their lead in the second quarter, taking a 50-35 lead into the locker room. The Panthers weren't able to make up any ground in the second half despite scoring dropping off for both teams. Any chance of a comeback went by the wayside in the final quarter as the Panthers went just 1-for-13 from the floor over the final 10 minutes.

All six Panther sophomores that dressed for their final game got into the scoring column, led by K'Anndra Rhoden (Brentwood/Brentwood H.S.). The team's leading scorer for the year, Rhoden finished with 23 points, 8 rebounds, 8 steals, 2 assists, and a block. Mackenzie Constable (Sidney/Sidney H.S.) added 13 points along with 4 rebounds and 4 assists. Elizabeth Ripley (Moravia/Home School) scored 5 points while Kerrin O'Shaughnessy (Worcester/Worcester H.S.) had 4 points and 7 rebounds. Mya Grey (Fallsburg/Fallsburg H.S.) and Brittany Ingram (Kingston, Jamaica/Excelsior H.S.) each had 2 points.
