For the final road game of the season, the Tompkins Cortland women's basketball team traveled north on I-81 to take on the #8-ranked team in the nation, Onondaga Community College. The result was an 88-37 loss to the Lazers, leaving the Panthers with a record of 3-16 overall and 1-10 in the Mid-State Athletic Conference. Onondaga improves to 23-3 overall and 10-0 and in first place in the MSAC.

As has been the case during the recent cold streak, the Panthers had a hard time scoring. Only three players made more than one shot from the floor, with only K'Anndra Rhoden (Brentwood/Brentwood H.S.) making more than two. The sophomore led the team with 14 points, connecting on five shots from the floor and also being the only Panther to convert from the foul line. Elizabeth Ripley (Moravia/Home School) made two shots, both 3-pointers, and Kerrin O'Shaughnessy (Worcester/Worcester H.S.) was the other player to make two shots, finishing with four points.

The Panthers close out the season at home against Cayuga Community College on Saturday.
