Tompkins Cortland Community College hosted the Panther Cross Country Invitational on Saturday, welcoming runners from Onondaga Community College, Jefferson Community College, and Corning Community College. In the team competition, Onondaga edged Corning 27 to 28. The individual male winner was Hayden Allington from Corning with a time of 22:31 over the six-kilometer course. Onondaga's Eva Murphy won the four-kilometer women's course with a time of 23:17.

For the Panthers, Colin Morey (Groton/Groton H.S.) had the top result, crossing the line in 30:04 for 14th place. Scott Carlisle (Genoa/Rock Hill (S.C.)) was 17h at 34:40 with Dowain Geesey (Lansing/Lansing H.S.) next at 35:45.

Tompkins Cortland takes part in the Mid-State Athletic Conference championship hosted by Corning Community College on Saturday, October 15.
