The Tompkins Cortland Community College men's soccer team returned home on Wednesday to host SUNY Broome in the first home game in nearly three weeks. The two teams were even in nearly every statistic, except for one that matters the most as Broome pulled out a 2-0 win over the Panthers. Tompkins Cortland is now 1-6 overall and 1-2 in the Mid-State Athletic Conference while Broome improves to 4-6 overall and 2-1 in the MSAC.

The teams were nearly even in shots (9-8 in favor of Broome), but Broome had the better chances and converted one in each half. The first score came in the 19th minute and gave the Hornets the first-half lead. The final score came midway through the second half, giving the visitors the 2-0 final.

Nate Stuart (Fulton/G. Ray Bodley H.S.) had four saves in goal for the Panthers.
