Playing at Division II-Monroe Community College as a tune-up before returning to regional play after the winter break, the Tompkins Cortland Community College men's basketball team lost 89-62 on Tuesday. The Panthers are now 5-5 on the year while Monroe improves to 9-11.

Justin Peeples (Arlington, Penn./Burlington County Institute of Technology West) led the Panthers with 16 points. Joel Davis (Watertown/Watertown H.S.) had another double-double with 13 points and 14 rebounds.

Looking ahead

The Panthers jump back into their regional schedule this weekend, hosting SUNY Adirondack on Saturday and Hudson Valley Community College on Sunday.
