Panther Bounce-Back with Win at Clinton

The Tompkins Cortland Community College men's basketball team salvaged a split of their weekend road trip, beating Clinton Community College on Sunday, 76-57. The bounce-back win after Saturday's heartbreaking loss moves the Panthers to 5-3 on the year.

The Panthers led by 38-29 at the half, and continued to pull away in the second half for the comfortable win.

Four Panthers scored in double figures, with Joel Davis (Watertown/Watertown H.S.) coming up with his fifth double-double of the year with 14 points and 10 rebounds. Tysheen Lott (Buffalo/Health Science Charter) led the scorers with 15 points and Logan Nordman (Onondaga/Onondaga H.S.) had 14. Dayrien Franklin (Mastic/Center Moriches H.S.) added 11 points in the win.

The Panthers wrap up the semester at Genesee Community College on Tuesday.
