Panthers Win Second Straight to Get Back to .500

The Tompkins Cortland Community College men's basketball team picked up its second win in two days, beating North Country Community College 67-59 on Sunday. The road win brings the Panthers back to .500 on the season at 9-9. North Country stands at 7-8.

Cameron Thompson (Syracuse/Institute of Technology) led the team in scoring with a season-high 17 points while going 3-for-3 on 3-pointers. Justin Sykes (Harlem/Lyons Community School) was right behind with 15 points and Marven Louissaint (Brooklyn/Erasmus Hall H.S.) had his second straight double-double with 10 points and 11 rebounds. Michael Sinclair (Brooklyn/Academy for College Prep and Career Exploration) had a well-rounded game with 10 points and 8 assists, and 7 rebounds.

Looking ahead

The Panthers are back home and back in conference play on Wednesday, hosting Onondaga Community College.
