The Tompkins Cortland Community College men's basketball team closed out the semester Wednesday with an 81-70 loss at Hudson Valley Community College. The Panthers are now 4-4 while Hudson Valley improves to 6-6.

Logan Nordman (Onondaga/Onondaga H.S.) was the high scorer for the Panthers, netting 17 points off the bench. Justin Sykes (Harlem/Lyons Community School) had a big double-double of 13 points and 13 rebounds. Michael Obi (Yonkers/Lincoln H.S.) also reached double figures in both points and rebounds, finishing with 10 of each.

Looking ahead

The Panthers return after the winter break to host SUNY Broome January 8.
