After leading most of the opening 20 minutes, including 37-36 at the half, the Tompkins Cortland men's basketball team saw its lead dissolve in the second half of an 81-72 loss at Jefferson Community College Tuesday. Tompkins Cortland is now 2-4 overall, 2-3 in Region III, and 0-1 in the Mid-State Athletic Conference. Jefferson is 4-3 overall, 4-2 in region, and 1-0 in MSAC.

The Panthers are back home Thursday, hosting Fulton-Montgomery Community College.
