The Tompkins Cortland Community College men's basketball team opened the spring semester with a non-region game, playing at Davis College Monday. The Panthers lost to the four-year school, 86-83, to fall to 5-6 on the year. Davis is now 6-8.

Tahleek Weekes (South Queens/Construction H.S.) led the team with 27 points, followed by Jonathan Baker (Staten Island/Curtis H.S.) with 23 points.

The Panthers return to NJCAA action Saturday at SUNY Broome. The Mid-State Athletic Conference clash tips at 3 p.m.
