Playing on the road at the #7-ranked team in the nation, the Tompkins Cortland Community College men's basketball team didn't have enough answers, losing 92-64 to Herkimer College. The loss drops the Panthers' record to 2-2 overall and 2-1 in Region III games. Herkimer is 5-0 overall and in region.

The Panthers struggled to put the ball in the basket in the first half, scoring just 15 points through the first 20 minutes. Trailing 43-15 at the break, Tompkins Cortland came out with a strong second half, but it wasn't enough to make a close game. Both the Panthers and Generals scored 49 points in the second half, making the final a 92-64 win for Herkimer.

The Panthers come back home Friday to take on North Country Community College at 7 p.m.
