
The Panthers dropped a doubleheader at Figer Lakes Community College on Monday. The Panthers stand at 6-18 overall, 2-8 in the Region 3 West Division, and 4-12 in the Mid-State Athletic Conference. Finger Lakes is 19-10 overall, 9-4 in the West Division, and 5-4 in the MSAC.
Game One: Finger Lakes 10, Tompkins Cortland 0
The Panthers fell victim to a pair of big innings in game one. After a scoreless first, Finger Lakes put five across in the second. The score remained 5-0 until the sixth when the home team scored another five to end the game due to the run rule.
Game Two: Finger Lakes 9, Tompkins Cortland 3
The Lakers scored in the first inning, but the Panthers tied it with a run in the top of the third. The home team regained the lead with three in the bottom of the frame, and after the Panthers put a run across in the fourth, put the game away with five runs in the fifth.
Seven Panthers collected hits in the nightcap, with Noboru Shinohara (Tokyo, Japan/Dokkyo Saitama) and Jack Pilgrim (Rochester/Greece Arcadia H.S.) each driving in a run.

The Panthers are next scheduled to host Corning Community College on Thursday.
