The Tompkins Cortland Community College men's soccer team closed out the season with a 2-2 tie with Cayuga Community College on Wednesday. The road draw leave the Panthers with a record of 5-5-4 overall and 5-5-3 in Region 3. The result secures the #9 seed in the upcoming NJCAA regional playoffs, which will open on Sunday with the Panthers playing at #8 Finger Lakes Community College.  Cayuga is now 10-3-1.

The result gives the Panthers some momentum heading into the playoffs. Not only did the tie come against one of the top teams in the region, the two goals scored represent the most the Panthers have scored in a game since September 9.
