The Tompkins Cortland Community College men's soccer team came up just short on the road Wednesday, losing 2-1 at Jefferson Community College. The Panthers finish the Mid-State Athletic Conference portion of their schedule with a MSAC record of 1-5 and an overall record of 2-11. Jefferson is 3-3 in the MSAC and 8-7 overall.

Jefferson scored twice in the first half, but the Panthers cut the lead in half with a goal by Mason Bush (Perry/Perry H.S.) in the 70th minute. Goalkeeper Jonathan Marchello (Lake George/Lake George H.S.) kept it a one-goal game the rest of the way, but the Panthers couldn't make it all the way back. Marchello finished with three saves.

The Panthers travel to SUNY Adirondack for the season finale on Saturday.
