Solid Early, Panthers Men's Soccer Fades in Loss

Playing one of the highest scoring teams in the region, the Tompkins Cortland men's soccer team put forth a solid effort Wednesday. The Panthers held Cayuga Community College to a single goal in the first half before the Spartans broke it open in the second half of a 7-1 final. With the loss, the Panthers are now 2-8 overall and 1-3 in the Mid-State Athletic Conference. Cayuga is now 9-2 overall and 4-1 in the MSAC.

 

The Panthers play at Mohawk Valley Cayuga Community College on Sunday.
