#7 Genesee Blanks Panthers Men

The Tompkins Cortland Community College men's soccer team played host to the #7-ranked team Tuesday. The result was a 7-0 to Genesee Community College. The third-straight shutout loss drops the Panthers to 1-5 overall. Genesee improves to 7-2.

The Cougars set the tone early, holding a significant advantage in time of possession while scoring four times in the first half. The Panthers managed a handful of scoring opportunities after halftime, but the visitors again dominated play. By the final horn, Genesee had added three scores to make the final 7-0.

Dylon Conklin (Moravia/Southern Cayuga H.S.) and Kyle Brown (Dryden/Dryden H.S.) split time in the goal. Conklin, the starter, had nine saves while allowing six score. Brown closed out the game by racking up five saves and allowing one goal.

Next up for the Panthers is a road game at Jamestown Community College Saturday.
