The Tompkins Cortland Community College golf team scored its best finish of the season on Saturday, placing fifth at the Herkimer Invite. The Panthers shot a season-best 336, led by Patrick Tammariello (Owego/Owego Free Academy) with a 78, good for ninth best individual score on the day.

Cole Dalton (Apalachin/Owego Free Academy) and Cillian Lynch (Dublin, Ireland/St. Vincents H.S.) each had an 85 and Dillon Ferrell (Endicott/Union-Endicott H.S.) had a strong showing of 88. Dylan Budd (Lansing/Lansing H.S.) carded a 106.
