Led by a strong performance by Zachary Jacobson (East Amherst/Williamsville East H.S.), the Tompkins Cortland Community College golf team took part in the Jamestown Invitational on Friday. Playing the Chautauqua Golf Course, the longtime host course of the NJCAA Division III National Championship, the Panthers carded a team score of 368 to finish in eighth place among nine teams. Niagara County Community College won the event with a score of 318.
Jacobson had his best showing of the season, tying for second with a 77. Harrison Conn (Marlboro/Marlboro H.S.) had his best showing of the season with an 87, followed by Patrick O'Neill (Dryden/Dryden H.S.) at 89. Stanley Trevits (Dryden/Dryden H.S.) rounded out the team with a 115.

The Panthers travel to Niagara Saturday.
