Taking part in the nine-team Mohawk Valley Invitational on Friday, Tompkins Cortland Community College finished in eighth place. The Panthers carded a team score of 367 at Oneida Community Golf Club. Onondaga Community College and Niagara County Community College both shot 324 to tie atop the leaderboard.

Zachary Jacobson (East Amherst/Williamsville East H.S.) had another good tournament for the Panthers, carding a 78 for the sixth best individual score of the day. Patrick O'Neill (Dryden/Dryden H.S.) was next with an 84 followed by Diego Castellot (Marathon/Marathon H.S.) with a 98. Stanley Trevits (Dryden/Dryden H.S.) finished at 107 and Harrison Conn (Marlboro/Marlboro H.S.) at 108.

Looking ahead

The Panthers take part in the SUNY Adirondack tournament Saturday.
