
Daniel Lapp (Trumansburg/Charles O. Dickerson H.S.) won another tournament Saturday, taking medalist honors at the Niagara County Community College Invitational. His two-over par 74 helped the Tompkins Cortland Community College golf team to a sixth place finish with a team score of 368. Niagara won the event with a 330 at the Willowbrook Golf Course in Lockport
Lapp won medalist honors by a stroke, the sixth time this year that Lapp has turned in a card with the best score of the tournament. His score led the Panthers team score, which include Tyler Clark (Odessa-Montour H.S./Odessa) with a 90, Alex Sanford (Cortland/Cortland H.S.) and Sean McDaniel (Dryden/Dryden H.S.) at 102, and William Stouffer (Candor/Candor H.S.) at 104.
