
Daniel Lapp (Trumansburg/Charles O. Dickerson H.S.) won medalist honors yet again Saturday, helping the Tompkins Cortland Community College golf team to a second place finish at the Hudson Valley Community College Invitational. The Panther carded a team score of 335 to finish tied with Mohawk Valley Community College for second place. SUNY Adirondack won the event with team score of 316 at the par 72 Frear Park Golf Course.
Lapp fired an even par 72 to win medalist honors by three strokes. It marks the fifth time in six outings this year that Lapp has finished at the top of the leaderboard. Tyler Clark (Odessa-Montour H.S./Odessa) posted a top ten score with an 80, followed by Sean McDaniel (Dryden/Dryden H.S.) with an 89. William Stouffer (Candor/Candor H.S.) rounded out the team score with a 94.
