Panthers Edge Jefferson for Fourth-Straight Win

The Panthers men's basketball team built a 13-point lead before holding on for a 70-69 win at Jefferson Community College Sunday. The fourth-straight win moves Tompkins Cortland to 11-4 overall and 9-1 in the Mid-State Athletic Conference. Jefferson is now 7-6 overall and 6-4 in the MSAC.

Khai Pugh (Syracuse/Nottingham H.S.) had another big game with 18 points, 19 rebounds, 5 assists, and 3 steals. Javonte Long (Harlem/Clayton H.S.) posted 12 points, 7 assists, and 5 steals and Damari Johnson (Binghamton/Johnson City H.S.) just missed a double-double with 11 points and 9 rebounds.
