Panther Nick Cody has been named the NJCAA Division III National Pitcher of the Week.

Cody was honored for his season-opening effort against Jefferson Community College. In his complete game win, he struck out 13 batters, tying a school record. His day included a string of 8 straight strikeouts in the middle innings, helping the Panthers to the 3-2 win. Both runs were unearned as Cody allowed just three hits and issued just two walks.
