Providing a consistent threat in both games this week has made Israel Guerrido the Panthers Athlete of the Week.

Guerrido had his two best shooting games of the season this week. At Jefferson on Wednesday, the freshman made 4-of-5 from the floor, including 2-of-3 on 3-pointers. Moving into the starting lineup on Saturday, he made 3-of-4 from behind the arc, making him 5-of-7 from long range on the week. He finished each game with 10 points, his highest total of the season, and also averaged 3 rebounds and 2 assists in the two games.
