A dramatic game-tying goal has earned Marlee Hogan the title of Panthers Athlete of the Week.
The freshman from Auburn came through for the women's soccer team against conference-rival Corning. With the Panthers trailing 1-0 with just over a minute left to play, she collected a loose ball just short of midfield and raced through the defenders for a one-on-one opportunity with the Corning goalkeeper. With the defenders giving chase on her heels, Hogan calmly slotted the ball home with 53.9 seconds left on the clock. The equalizer held, giving the Panthers a tie and snapping a ten-game losing streak.
