A sparkling debut performance in the women's basketball opener has Michaela Jean-Philippe as the Panthers Athlete of the Week.
In her first collegiate game, Jean-Philippe put up huge numbers while helping the Panthers to a win over Genesee. The freshman from Binghamton went for a double-double of 29 points and 19 rebounds, both game-highs. She just missed a triple-double by adding 7 steals and also made five 3-pointers as part of her impressive stat line.
