The Tompkins Cortland Community College men's soccer team ran up against a hot team Saturday, losing at Onondaga Community College 9-0. The Panthers are now 1-4 overall and 0-1 in the Mid-State Athletic Conference. Onondaga is 8-1 and 4-0 in the MSAC.
The Lazers scored four in the first half to take control of the game. Five more in the second half made the final 9-0.
The going doesn't get any easier for the Panthers. Next up is a home game against Genesee Onondaga Community College on Tuesday at 6:30 p.m. The Cougars come to town ranked in the top ten in the nation, averaging 7.5 goals per game.
