  • Panthers Honored with Academic All-Region Honors

    Seventeen Tompkins Cortland Community College student-athletes have been recognized as Academic All-Region by Region III of the National Junior College Athletic Association (NJCAA). Adebodun Ademoyo (Binghamton/Seton Catholic H.S.), Brianna Allen (Marion/Marion H.S.), Megan Ball (Dryden/Dryden H.S.), Kassidy Egan (Spencer/Spencer-Van Etten H.S.), Natasha Feocco (Newfield/Dryden H.S.), Jessica Fisk (Waterloo/Waterloo H.S.), Erin Harkenrider (Dryden/Dryden H.S.), Madison Hartenstein (Newark Valley/Newark Valley H.S.), Kadija Hill-Custis (Syracuse/Fowler H.S.), Kaw Ler Hser (Brooktondale/Ithaca H.S.), Andrew McDaniel (Dryden/Dryden H.S.), Alexander Russell-Cook (Ithaca/Ithaca H.S.), Joey Shufelt (Dryden/Dryden, H.S.), Joseph Tummino (Homer/Homer H.S.) Carmelina Vigliotti Martinez (Syracuse/Henninger H.S.), Breanna Wendel (Dryden/Dryden H.S.), and Finn Wise (Dryden/Dryden H.S.) were recognized for their excellence in the classroom.
  • Volleyball Team and 12 Individuals Honored for Academics

    One team and twelve individual Tompkins Cortland Community College student-athletes have been honored for their academic excellence by the National Junior College Athletic Association (NJCAA). The Panthers volleyball team was recognized as one of the 2019-20 Academic Teams of the Year, and NJCAA All-Academic honors were given to Jessica Fisk (Waterloo/Waterloo H.S.), Adebodun Ademoyo (Binghamton/Seton Catholic H.S.), Brianna Allen (Marion/Marion H.S.), Kassidy Egan (Spencer/Spencer-Van Etten H.S.), Natasha Feocco (Newfield/Dryden H.S.), Erin Harkenrider (Dryden/Dryden H.S.), Kadija Hill-Custis (Syracuse/Fowler H.S.), Kaw Ler Hser (Brooktondale/Ithaca H.S.), Alexander Russell-Cook (Ithaca/Ithaca H.S.), Joey Shufelt (Dryden/Dryden, H.S.), Carmelina Vigliotti Martinez (Syracuse/Henninger H.S.), and Breanna Wendel (Dryden/Dryden H.S.). Fisk is a repeat All-Academic selection; it was the first time for the rest.
  • Men's Soccer Ends Season on High Note

    The Tompkins Cortland Community College men’s soccer team ended the season on a high note, shutting out SUNY Adirondack 4-0 on Saturday. The Panthers finish the year with a record of 3-11 while Adirondack ends at 2-12-1.
  • Men's Soccer Drops Road Game at Jefferson
    October 23, 2019
    The Tompkins Cortland men’s soccer team came up just short on the road Wednesday, losing 2-1 at Jefferson Community College. The Panthers finish the Mid-State Athletic Conference portion of their schedule with a MSAC record of 1-5 and an overall record of 2-11. Jefferson is 3-3 in the MSAC and 8-7 overall.
  • Men's Soccer Shutout at Home
    October 21, 2019
    The Tompkins Cortland Community College men’s soccer team was shutout at home Monday, falling 3-0 to SUNY Broome. The Panthers have now been held scoreless six times this year while posting a record of 2-10 overall and 1-4 in the Mid-State Athletic Conference. Broome is 6-6-2 overall and 3-2 in the MSAC.
  • Men's Soccer at SUNY Broome Postponed
    October 16, 2019
    The Mid-State Athletic Conference game scheduled for Wednesday, October 16 at SUNY Broome has been postponed. The heavy rains throughout the region left the Broome grass field unplayable.
  • Panthers Men's Soccer Overmatched at Mohawk Valley

    The Tompkins Cortland Community College men’s soccer team has ran up against some very strong teams this season, but Sunday found the Panthers facing off against the #5-ranked team in the nation on the road. The result was a lopsided loss as the final horn sounded with Mohawk Valley taking a 9-0 win. The Panthers are now 2-9 on the season while Mohawk Valley is now 14-2. The Panthers look to get back on track Wednesday at SUNY Broome.
  • Solid Early, Panthers Men's Soccer Fades in Loss

    Playing one of the highest scoring teams in the region, the Tompkins Cortland Community College men’s soccer team put forth a solid effort Wednesday. The Panthers held Cayuga Community College to a single goal in the first half before the Spartans broke it open in the second half of a 7-1 final. With the loss, the Panthers are now 2-8 overall and 1-3 in the Mid-State Athletic Conference. Cayuga is now 9-2 overall and 4-1 in the MSAC. The Panthers play at Mohawk Valley Cayuga Community College on Sunday.
  • Men's Soccer Loses 2-1 at Finger Lakes

    The Tompkins Cortland Community College men’s soccer team dropped a 2-1 game at Finger Lakes Community College on Sunday. The Panthers are now 2-7 overall and 1-2 in the Mid-State Athletic Conference while Finger Lakes is 4-11 overall and 2-3 in the MSAC.
  • Men's Soccer Picks Up Road Win

    The Tompkins Cortland men’s soccer team snapped a four-game skid Wednesday with a 3-1 win at Corning Community College. The win moves the Panthers to 2-6 overall and 1-1 in the Mid-State Athletic Conference. Corning drops to 0-10 overall and 0-5 in the MSAC.
  • Men's Soccer Held Scoreless at Jamestown
    September 28, 2019
    Playing at Jamestown on Saturday, the Tompkins Cortland Community College men’s soccer team couldn’t get the offense on track. The result was a fourth-straight shutout loss for the Panthers, this time 4-0 to the Jayhwaks. The result leaves the Panthers with a record of 1-6 overall while Jamestown improves to 7-2-2.
  • #7 Genesee Blanks Panthers Men
    September 24, 2019
    The Tompkins Cortland Community College men’s soccer team played host to the #7-ranked team Tuesday. The result was a 7-0 to Genesee Community College. The third-straight shutout loss drops the Panthers to 1-5 overall. Genesee improves to 7-2.
  • Onondaga Overwhelms Panthers Men's Soccer

    The Tompkins Cortland Community College men’s soccer team ran up against a hot team Saturday, losing at Onondaga Community College 9-0. The Panthers are now 1-4 overall and 0-1 in the Mid-State Athletic Conference. Onondaga is 8-1 and 4-0 in the MSAC.

    A goal in the 86th minute of play was the only score of the game Saturday as Erie Community College handed the Tompkins Cortland Community College men’s soccer team a 1-0 loss. The loss drops the Panthers to 1-3. Erie improves to 3-1.

    The Tompkins Cortland Community College men?s soccer team opened its home schedule in style Sunday, posting a 3-0 win over Niagara County Community College. The Panthers are now 1-2 while Niagara falls to 0-4.

    The first weekend of the season for the Tompkins Cortland Community College men’s soccer team ended with a 3-1 loss at North Country Community College Sunday. The Panthers are now 0-2 while North Country improves to 2-3.
  • Panthers Men Drop Opener

    The new season got off to a sluggish start for the Tompkins Cortland Community College men’s soccer team as the Panther lost 4-1 on the road to Clinton Community College on Saturday. It was Clinton’s first win in three games this year.
