Nicholas Scanlon signing his Letter of Intent to play baseball for the Panthers

Head Coach Billy Crowe has added another standout to his recruiting class. Nicholas Scanlon, a 2019 graduate of Fabius-Pompey, has signed his National Letter of Intent to play baseball at Tompkins Cortland.

A third baseman for the Falcons, Coach Crowe sees Scanlon getting time both in the infield and outfield for the Panthers. "He's an outstanding young man and very coachable," said Coach Crowe. "He communicates with the coaching staff and his teammates very well, and I expect him to have some success swinging the bat this year."

Scanlon finished his career at Fabius-Pompey with a .429 career batting average, having played on varsity for three seasons. A two-time all-league selection, the Falcons won two league championships during his time. A team MVP and home run leader, he also was among the RBI leaders in all of Section III his senior season.
