The Tompkins Cortland Community College volleyball team dropped its fourth straight match Wednesday, losing in straight sets at Finger Lakes Community College. The Panthers are now 7-10 overall and 1-4 in the Mid-State Athletic Conference. Finger Lakes is 15-7 overall and 4-2 in the MSAC.
The Lakers won by scores of 25-8, 25-20, and 25-12. Ashley Smith (Lansing/Lansing H.S.) had a team-best four kills for the Panthers. Erin Harkenrider (Dryden/Dryden H.S.) had three kills and three aces and Amanda Green (Lansing/Lansing H.S.) had nine assists. Jessica Kenyon (Cortland/Cortland H.S.) pulled out four digs.
After a weekend off, next up for the Panthers is a Mid-State Athletic Conference match at Jefferson Community College on Wednesday, October 10.
