Mick McDaniel returns to the women's soccer program for 2023. McDaniel previously led the Panther women's team from 2005-2011, compiling a record of 81-41-4. He not only holds the College record for wins, but is also one of the winningest soccer coaches in Region 3 history with more than 150 wins combined between his time leading the men's and women's teams at Tompkins Cortland.

While leading the women's programs, the Panthers won the Mid-State Athletic Conference twice and he was named Coach of the Year by the MSAC, NJCAA Region 3, and NSCAA Northeast Region. In addition to the team success, he was very successful in developing players: 31 earned all-conference honors, 24 were named all-region, and 6 garnered All-American recognition. Dozens of his players continued their careers at the four-year level.

McDaniel is also the College's Director of Athletics and Recreation.
