Taking on the #1-ranked team in the nation, the Tompkins Cortland Community College women's soccer team couldn't muster any offense, eventually falling to Erie Community College by a 3-0 final. The Panthers' second straight shutout loss leave the team with a record of 5-2 overall and 4-2 in Region III. Erie now 6-1 overall and 5-0 in the region.

A week after suffering the first loss of a season, also a 3-0 score, the Panthers struggled to mount much of an attack. Erie enjoyed the better of play most of the game, taking the lead in the 31st minute of play and adding to it in the closing minutes of the half. The Kats made it 3-0 early in the second half, and held the Panthers off the board the rest of the way to secure the win.

Kassie Murdock (Stillwater H.S./Stillwater) had a solid game in goal with 11 saves.

The Panthers hit the road for just the second time this year, playing at Onondaga Community College on Saturday.
