Panthers Women Lose at Fulton-Montgomery

A good start quickly fell apart on Sunday as the Tompkins Cortland women's basketball team lost to Fulton-Montgomery Community College 100-61. Tompkins Cortland drops to 6-8 on the season while Fulton-Montgomery is now 10-4.

The game was close through the first ten minutes, with the Panthers down by just two points, 18-16. Things deteriorated in the second quarter, with Fulton-Montgomery putting up 35 points and taking a 53-26 lead into the locker room. Things steadied a bit in the second half, but the deficit continued to grow until the final horn.

Next up on the schedule for the Panthers is a game at Corning Community College on Wednesday.
