Panthers Men's Soccer Drops Road Game at Jamestown

Playing on the road Wednesday, the Tompkins Cortland Community College men's soccer team couldn't get any offense going, dropping a 3-0 decision to Jamestown Community College. Tompkins Cortland is now 2-5 overall and 2-4 in Region 3. Jamestown improves to 5-3-2 overall and 5-1-1 in region.

Jamestown scored the game's first goal midway through the first half. The Panthers defense kept the score at 1-0 for the next 45 minutes before Jamestown doubled their lead. The last goal came with just three minutes left in the game, making the final score 3-0.

Brandon Randall (Newark Valley/Newark Valley H.S.) had eight saves in his debut in goal this season, including one on a penalty kick.

Looking ahead

The Panthers host Genesee Community College on Sunday. It is the final home game of the season for Tompkins Cortland.
