The Tompkins Cortland men's soccer team dropped a 2-1 game at Finger Lakes Community College on Sunday. The Panthers are now 2-7 overall and 1-2 in the Mid-State Athletic Conference while Finger Lakes is 4-11 overall and 2-3 in the MSAC.

The Panthers fell behind right at the start, with Finger Lakes scoring just 69 seconds after the opening whistle. Nathan Stuart (Fulton/G. Ray Bodley H.S.) tied the game in the 38th minute of play, scoring an unassisted goal. The score stayed tied into the half, but Finger Lakes broke the tie early in the second half, scoring in the 56th minute. A red card on a Finger Lakes player gave the Panthers a chance to play a man-up over the last 16 minutes, but they couldn't take advantage and the final horn sounded with the home team up 2-1.

Dylon Conklin (Moravia/Southern Cayuga H.S.) posted eight five saves in goal.

The Panthers return home Wednesday to host Cayuga Community College.
