A 6-1 home loss to SUNY Broome marked the end of the season for the Tompkins Cortland Community College men's soccer team. Wednesday's loss leaves the Panthers with a final record of 5-10 overall and 2-4 in the Mid-State Athletic Conference. Broome is now 12-4 overall and 5-1 in the MSAC.

Broome scored four times in the first half, starting the game by running right through the Panthers defense to get its first quality shot in the opening seconds and its first goal in the opening minutes. Tompkins Cortland got on the board early in the second half, with Marton Tozser (Homer/Homer H.S.) heading in a goal off a corner kick from. Noah McPherson (Hartford, Conn./Bulkeley H.S.) to make it 4-1 with 36:29 left to play. The goal was Tozser's second of the year, but any thoughts of a comeback were quickly squelched when Broome scored two minutes after the Tompkins Cortland goal and then added another less than three minutes later.

Sean McDaniel (Dryden/Dryden H.S.) had 11 saves in his final game in goal for the Panthers. Over his career, the sophomore appeared in 25 games and posted a record of 9-6.
