The Tompkins Cortland Community College men's soccer team dropped a home game to Onondaga Community College Saturday, losing 4-1. The win, the first for the Panthers in three weeks, improves Tompkins Cortland's record to 3-5 overall, 2-5 in Region III, and 1-1 in the Mid-State Athletic Conference. Onondaga is 7-2 overall, 6-1 in region, and 4-0 in the MSAC.

The visiting Lazers wasted little time making themselves comfortable, scoring in the fourth minute of play. The second goal came in the 19th minute of play and the score held at 2-0 the rest of the first half.

The Panthers got on the board 29 seconds into the second half when Nate Moon (Treadwell/Delaware Academy) lifted a long shot that beat the Onondaga keeper to make the score 2-1. The Panthers tried to use the momentum to score the equalizer, but after ten minutes of play in the second half, Onondaga pushed the lead back to two. The Lazers iced the game five minutes later with a goal to make it 4-1.

Jacob Beber (Fort Ann/For Ann H.S.) had six saves in goal for the Panthers.

Tompkins Cortland takes it last road trip of the season Tuesday with a game at Genesee Community College. Following the contest at the #4-ranked Cougars, the Panthers finish the regular season with six straight home games.
