Tompkins Cortland Community College's Daniel Lapp (Trumansburg/Charles O. Dickerson H.S.) sits in a tie for sixth place after day one of the NJCAA Division III Golf National Tournament. Lapp finished Tuesday with a score of 76, five strokes off the pace being set by Zach Breault of Vincennes University (Indiana). The four-day tournament continues Wednesday at the par 72 Lake Course at the Chautauqua Golf Club.
Lapp will tee off for his second round at 10:52 Wednesday morning. The tournament runs through Friday.
