Taking part in the Herkimer College Invitational, the Tompkins Cortland Community College golf team shot a 357 for a seventh-place finish. The nine-team event was won by SUNY Adirondack with a 318 at the par 72 Mohawk Valley Country Club.
Daniel Lapp (Trumansburg/Charles O. Dickerson H.S.) earned medalist honors with an even par 72, beating the next closest golfer by three strokes. Tyler Clark (Odessa-Montour H.S./Odessa) had an 83, followed by Sean McDaniel (Dryden/Dryden H.S.) with a 97. William Stouffer (Candor/Candor H.S.) rounded out the team score with a 104.
